What it costs, and what happens after you send the form
- What does radon mitigation cost in Wisconsin?
- Wisconsin DHS estimates a contractor-installed system typically costs $1,000 to $2,000, depending on foundation type, home size, and system design (Wisconsin DHS). Nationally the range runs $800 to $2,500 with an average of about $1,200 (EPA). After installation the main recurring cost is fan electricity, a few dollars a month. Test kits run about $15 to $40. These are published estimates, not quotes and not our prices.
- Does that range cover water treatment?
- No. It prices an air mitigation system. Radon in well water is a separate job, and aeration treatment runs about $3,500 as a published estimate. The radon in water page covers it.
- How fast will someone get back to me?
- Calls and form submissions reach Compass Camper LLC directly. We read the request and pass it to an independent local radon mitigation contractor, usually within about an hour during the day. They then contact you to look at the house and price the work on their own schedule.
- What work is covered?
- Radon mitigation, testing, mitigation at a home sale, crawl space and basement systems, and radon in well water.
Only the independent contractor we send your request to can price your actual house. Compass Camper LLC does not perform radon testing or mitigation work and does not quote it.
